Program Overview

About the school: Mälardalen University (MDU) has campuses in Västerås and Eskilstuna, Sweden. Around 17,000 students are enrolled in courses and programs in Design and Communication, Business and Economics, Healthcare, Education, Engineering, Chamber Music and Opera. Mälardalen enjoys a close collaboration with the private and public sectors, which contributes towards the better health of people and a more sustainable planet.

About the location: The University is located on both sides of beautiful Lake Mälaren, with the primary campus located in Västerås. The city has a population of about 125,000 people and is located about 60 miles west of Stockholm.

Housing

There are plentiful housing options available through Bostad Västerås, the third-party organization associated with the University. Furnished housing is either within walking distance of campus or easily accessible via bike/public transportation. More information about registration for housing will be provided after acceptance to the University.
