European Innovation Academy

Porto, Portugal

Program Overview

The European Innovation Academy (EIA) opportunity is a program with a real-world experience in an international multidisciplinary community. Students will be immersed in an intense and fun international working environment while creating a startup with other students from around the world. Five hundred participants from 80 universities attended the program in Summer 2023.

The program is a three-week experience in Porto, Portugal. The first week focuses on forming multidisciplinary international teams and validating the next $10 billion idea. During the second week, teams will design and launch the product, as well as map go-to-market strategy with the help of partners from global markets. The third week is all about acquiring the first 1,000 users and pitching to a panel of VCs.

European Innovation Academy is a non-profit educational institution with a mission to educate future entrepreneurs and accelerate companies’ digital growth, from an idea to a startup with mentors and speakers from the industry. The EIA program is developed in cooperation with world class universities and companies from Silicon Valley.

All majors welcome.
