How to become an Ambassador

The McCoy College Ambassadors are a select group of students who represent Texas State University and McCoy College of Business to members of the San Marcos community at McCoy College sponsored programs and events. We look for individuals who possess a strong sense of maturity, poise, and sense of pride in their academic institution. We meet the first and third Tuesday of every month from 5 pm–6 pm.

Membership Requirements

  • Minimum Overall and Major GPA of 3.0
  • Nominated by a current McCoy College Ambassador, faculty or staff member
  • Be able to serve as an MCA for at least 2 long semesters (fall/spring)

1. Receive a Nomination
