2026 McCoy Graduate Student Etiquette Dinner

Join us for a formal three-course meal plus etiquette training from expert Summer Salazar.

Date: Friday, March 27, 2025, from 5:30 pm to 9:00 pm    
Location: Austin Marriott South Hotel 
Tickets: $25 per person

A guided etiquette dinner 
• Instruction from a certified etiquette expert 
• Light appetizers, three course seated dinner, and non-alcohol beverages 
• Networking with peers and professionals
• 2 PDU credit eligible

Note: Refund Policy: Tickets are non-refundable. If you can no longer attend, tickets may be transferred to another student. 

Admission is $25 per attendee. Each student may purchase up to two tickets – one for themselves and one for a guest.

An etiquette dinner helps build confidence in professional dining by learning proper table manners, etiquette, and business dining norms during a guided meal.

All McCoy graduate students are welcome.

Required Attire: Business Professional       
Business professional attire refers to formal, polished clothing appropriate for professional environments such as offices, interviews, conferences, and formal events. It typically includes tailored garments, neutral colors, and minimal accessories

Schedule              
5:20 p.m. – Doors open    
5:30–6:30 p.m.  Cocktail/Mocktail Hour with light appetizers       
6:30–9:00 p.m. – Seated Three-Course Dinner and Etiquette Training       

Doors open at 5:20 pm. Please arrive early to allow time for check-in and seating before the program begins.

Beverages              
FREE mocktails and non-alcoholic beverages provided.              
Alcoholic beverages available for purchase, with ID, directly from the venue (Must be 21+ to purchase alcohol).

Ticket Deadline: Friday, March 13        
Tickets must be purchased by this date.    

Seating         
Seats are not assigned. Guests who wish to sit together are encouraged to arrive together.         

Dining & Dietary Accommodations              
We take great care to honor dietary needs, so all guests feel welcome. A dietary selection menu appears in TouchNet at checkout. The main entree will either be chicken, beef, or salmon. Please clarify if you have a specific need under dietary accommodation options/choices, including the "other" field.
