SAN MARCOS, Texas — The McCoy College of Business at Texas State University has surpassed 11,000 total students served for the fall 2025 semester, marking the largest enrollment in the business school's history.

Enrollment surged from 4,758 undergraduate students majoring in programs at McCoy College in fall 2024 to 5,573 as of census day for fall 2025 — an increase of 815 undergraduate business majors, or more than 17%.

McCoy College saw an even larger jump in graduate program enrollment with the addition of the new online doctor of business administration (DBA) and online master of business administration (MBA) programs, along with strong growth in most other master's level programs. Graduate enrollment rose from 416 in fall 2024 to 641 in fall 2025, an increase of 225 students, or more than 54%.

Between undergraduate majors and graduate students, McCoy College's enrollment grew by 1,040, more than 20%.

Texas State saw an institution-wide increase of 9.6% in overall enrollment, with 44,596 students, an all-time record for the university.

For fall 2025, McCoy College will also serve 2,828 undergraduate minors and 2,057 pre-business students. With 11,099 total students served, McCoy College will educate nearly 25% of Texas State's students. ✯
