Digital Monitor Policy

Overview and Purpose

The digital monitors in McCoy Hall serve as delivery platforms to advertise college-level programs and events. Audiences see content either in passing or while waiting; content pieces generally run 15-30 seconds. Because audiences see content only "at a glance," each content piece must be part of a long-term, comprehensive, strategic campaign in order to be effective. McCoy College currently uses a public-space subscription for OnSign offered by the university, which includes university advertisements once every 60 seconds.

Rules and Guidelines

The digital monitors will display only content promoting McCoy College programs or events as part of long-term, comprehensive, strategic marketing campaigns, designed and executed exclusively by the McCoy College Office of Marketing and Communications, ensuring alignment with university and college standards for graphic identity, branding, and accessibility.

Exceptions may be made for one-time content pieces promoting Presidential, Cabinet-level, and college-level distinguished guests and special events. Special content requests must be submitted to the McCoy College Office of Marketing and Communications in advance. Onscreen advertisements are often suspended for these content exceptions.
