  • Victoria (Ysabel) Carrasco
    MBA, 2026

Victoria Carrasco, whose 2021 undergraduate degree was in fashion merchandising, is currently finishing her MBA at McCoy College while serving as a San Marcos, Texas, Community Foundation intern with the San Marcos Area Chamber of Commerce. Originally hired as a Grant Writer, she has since expanded her role to serve as the Program Coordinator for Youth Leadership San Marcos. She says that it has been an incredible experience working alongside the Chamber Board and community partners to streamline scholarship management and raise vital funds for the local food bank through United Way and Caldwell County initiatives. She has applied her graduate studies to improve outreach and operational processes for the community, and she is looking forward to graduating this May.

    Chloe Wilson
    BBA in Marketing, 2024

Since graduating from Texas State University, Chloe Wilson has built her career in the B2B technology space, where she discovered a passion for helping businesses grow through modern Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and cloud solutions. She joined Crestwood Associates as a marketing Intern and has since progressed into her current role as marketing manager at Acumatica. Over the past two years, she has had the opportunity to grow quickly, moving from marketing specialist to growth marketing manager, and now leading go-to-market strategy for Acumatica ERP. In her current role, she focuses on demand generation, strategic partnerships, and industry-focused campaigns that help organizations solve real operational challenges. One of the most rewarding parts of her journey has been finding a strong connection to the B2B tech community and working alongside partners and clients to drive meaningful outcomes. This role has also given her the flexibility to work remotely while traveling internationally, including spending three months in Europe and time in Australia, all while continuing to support marketing initiatives. Looking ahead, she is excited to continue building her experience at the intersection of business and technology and will be pursuing her MBA at the University of Miami starting in fall 2026.

  • Amanda Jones

Amanda Jones graduated with a degree in applied arts and sciences, with a minor in business administration. With 21 years in the hospitality industry, she has had the opportunity to lead and evolve high-performing operations — but her past chapter with dual properties at Courtyard & Residence Inn San Marcos has been especially rewarding. Through strategic revenue management, market positioning, and team alignment, they achieved measurable growth across key performance metrics, including revenue, ADR, and RevPAR. Most notably, they exceeded booking goals by +108% for Q1-2026, reflecting both strong demand generation and disciplined execution. Additional accomplishments include: strengthening market share within a highly competitive segment; optimizing rate strategies to maximize profitability without sacrificing occupancy; enhancing operational efficiencies across both properties; building and retaining a results-driven, service-focused team culture; and successfully navigating system transitions and process improvements while maintaining performance. She is proud of what’s been accomplished and even more motivated for what’s ahead.
