Shane Sosa
BBA in Finance 2008Since graduating from Texas State University, Shane Sosa has dedicated his career to helping property owners navigate the complex world of insurance claims. As the co-founder and CEO of PALCO Claims, a public adjusting firm headquartered in New Braunfels, Texas, Shane leads a team of licensed adjusters who advocate for policyholders when their insurance claims are delayed, underpaid, or denied. In the past year, PALCO Claims has expanded operations beyond Texas into Oklahoma and Nevada, with additional states on the horizon. They have successfully represented commercial and residential clients in securing millions of dollars in claim recoveries, often in cases that were initially denied by insurers. Beyond case results, Shane is focused on building PALCO into a nationwide firm specializing in large-loss commercial claims exceeding $250,000. This includes developing advanced training programs for adjusters, leveraging technology for claim management, and publishing educational resources to empower property owners and contractors. His journey from Texas State to building a company that advocates for fairness in the insurance industry has been both challenging and rewarding. He is grateful for the foundation Texas State provided and looks forward to continuing to grow as a leader and mentor in this space.
