Tony Gillette

Tony Gillette is a 2021 MBA Graduate from the McCoy College of Business at Texas State University and currently serves on the MBA Advisory Board. He is presently employed as a Staff Manufacturing Engineer at Tesla, where he is part of the Factory Layout Team focusing on designing state-of-the-art manufacturing facilities. Tony has 20 years of experience in engineering and manufacturing, having previously held positions at ACS and Caterpillar in design and manufacturing engineering roles, respectively. Throughout his career, Tony has consistently emphasized the importance of translating complex engineering challenges and solutions into business language and has successfully developed and implemented transformational strategies. He is also deeply committed to mentorship and leadership development in engineering, having contributed significantly to this area throughout the various phases of his professional career. Additionally, Tony serves the Ingram School of Engineering at Texas State University as the Chairman of the Industry Advisory Board for the Mechanical Engineering program.
