The McCoy College Rising Star Award recognizes outstanding McCoy College of Business alumni who are within ten years of graduation and have achieved remarkable early‑career success while demonstrating strong potential for continued leadership in business and society. 

Rising Star honorees represent the next generation of leaders who are already shaping industries, building organizations, and giving back—continuing the legacy of excellence within the McCoy College of Business. They exemplify innovation, leadership, integrity, and service, and are making meaningful contributions to their professions, communities, and Texas State University.

This award honors graduates who exemplify the values of McCoy College—innovation, leadership, integrity, and service—and who are making meaningful contributions to their professions, communities, and Texas State University.

  • Must be a McCoy College of Business graduate.
  • Must be within 10 years of their most recent McCoy degree at the time of nomination.
